Lamont came within an 2hrs of The service request but shortly after the call back, with a calm confident demeanor, knocked loudly and announced himself as maintenance. Upon entering he confirmed the issues to be addressed and ensured nothing was forgotten! He promptly fixed my sliding patio door and reassured me not to worry about doing it myself, also my daughters electric toothbrush which I forgot to turn off was mistaken for a second incident—a power outlet failure, which he quickly and... humorously identified and resolved! Thank you Lamont—like Sanford and Son as he said! Very helpful and I’m highly satisfied!! Great maintenance here at Cortland village!

Cortland at the village
I had an amazing experience with this apartment complex from start to finish. The property is clean, well-maintained, and truly feels like home. The amenities are great, the community is quiet and welcoming, and everything is exactly as advertised—if not better.
I especially want to give a huge shoutout to **Valerie** in the leasing office. She was absolutely incredible throughout the entire process. Valerie was professional, friendly, patient, and always willing to answer my questions. She... made the application and move-in process so smooth and stress-free, and I genuinely felt like she cared about helping me find the perfect apartment. Because of her, what could have been a stressful experience turned into an exciting one.
If you’re looking for a place that’s beautiful, comfortable, and supported by an amazing leasing team, I highly recommend this apartment complex—and definitely ask for Valerie! She’s the best

After 2 years I still love living here. Overall, the community is very well kept. The neighbors are nice and everyone keeps to themselves. I love the spaces layout and peaceful uninterrupted walks in the evenings.

Please do not move here. The apartments are infested. The gym equipment is always broke and never cleaned. The managers are very dismissive to any concerns. Trash piles in front of units all the time outside of valet trash days and hours. Constants water shut offs because they are always renovating.

Regarding the pest-related concern you mentioned, we have regular pest control services, have you... already submitted a ticket to have them visit your apartment? If not, I can help you with this.
Our fitness center equipment is maintained regularly by a third-party vendor, and we have a housekeeper regularly attends to this amenity. Is there a particular area that needs to be addressed? We will do an immediate review to ensure it is in proper working order and clean. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.
Our goal is always to provide attentive and respectful service. I'm sorry if we made you feel that we were not taking your concerns seriously.
As for the valet trash and water shut-offs, we are aware of these challenges and are actively working to improve waste management services and minimize disruptions during renovations. We appreciate your patience and assure you we’re doing everything possible to make your living experience better.

I’ve been a resident at Cortland at the Village for almost three years. It’s a quiet community the gym and other amenities are great. The monthly community engagement activities are very organized and fun. And for the most part free (except food trucks) and free during these times are good.
