Kent was born in Chicago but spent his childhood in Ft Lauderdale and attended Broward College. He has owned and managed properties since moving to Atlanta in 1981. He founded RE/MAX Associates in 1986 and RE/MAX Advantage in 1992. Kent has spent time as a broker managing five offices with over 150 agents. Recently Kent has grown to become a leader in bank owned re sales personally closing over 2500 homes in the past 5 years. Kent is strong believer in real estate ownership and investment with his own portfolio of area homes. His extensive knowledge of all aspects of the real estate industry from work as a listing agent, buyer’s agent, broker, property manager, and foreclosure/short sale specialist. Kent has been an industry leader in the Atlanta area with extensive awards & designations including Membership in the RE/MAX Hall of Fame, Chairman’s Club, Platinum Club, and has been recognized by RE/MAX International for production every year since 1986. He has had the top RE/MAX team in Georgia for several years since 2008. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Georgia Association of Realtors, FMLS, GAMLS, and is a Director of the Metro South Board of Realtors. In his spare time Kent has bred and raised World Champion Quarter Horses. He also loves bass fishing on the area lakes, playing golf, and spending time with his family and friends.
