I’ve lived at The Registry Las Olas long enough to have a pretty balanced view of the building. There are a lot of things to like: the location is excellent, the building looks great, and there are some genuinely nice amenities. For a relatively new building marketed as a modern luxury property, there are also more operational issues than I would expect, however,

The amenities can feel overtaxed at times. One of the elevators was out of service for quite a while, although management announced... today, with considerable enthusiasm, that all four elevators are finally operating again. Hopefully they stay that way.

Parking is another frustration. The garage is supposed to offer the convenience of valet parking, but there have been times when parking availability has been an issue, and the app residents were given to manage the valet experience has been unreliable at best.

The building's electronic door/access system has also been a recurring problem for multiple residents. The Ecobee thermostats were another nice "smart building" feature, but residents can no longer control them through an app. Individually, none of these things is catastrophic. Collectively, however, they take away from the experience you expect from a newer luxury building at this price point. There are rumors that some of the issues are apparently related to availability of maintenance budget funds. I hope not.

Management also seems unusually particular about their social events. There have been building events where residents' friends and guests are present, but there are apparently other events where even a resident's boyfriend or other guest may not attend unless they are themselves a resident. For an apartment community populated by adults, that strikes me as an unnecessarily rigid and somewhat odd approach to building a sense of community.

The Registry has a lot of potential, and I don't dislike living here. My frustration is that the physical property and location promise a more polished experience than the day-to-day operation consistently delivers. I would much rather see management's attention focused on making the elevators, parking, access systems, smart-home technology, and other basic conveniences work reliably. We have lived at Registry for 3 years and have friends complain about other high end buildings nearby all the time . ( We do not ) So fortunate to have such a great MGMT team. Taini , Viktoria , Ashley and Laura are so professional and truly care . Oscar in maintenance is so prompt on a request and any issues is fixed right the first time .

I love this place. Best place to live in Ft Lauderdale. Their great management skills and superb customer service makes this place the best of the b st. It will exceed your housing expectations.

My only concern is front desk and security is not 24x7. I hope this will happen as the building fills up.

The entire office, concierge and maintenance staff are personable, friendly, timely and hard working. I appreciate each and every one of them.
