I have lived at this property for several years, and I think it is important to give credit where credit is due. There were significant problems here in the past, and I was very vocal about them. But there has also been a substantial amount of improvement, and it would not be fair for me to ignore that.

Today, the property is in much better condition. The elevators are being maintained and problems are being addressed much more quickly. The security doors are working, the vehicle access gates... are operational, and overall security has noticeably improved. Crime also appears to have decreased considerably from what residents experienced in the past.

Management and ownership have repaired stairs, walkways, gangways, doors, and other damaged areas throughout the property. Even smaller maintenance issues are being addressed, such as installing bird guards on dryer vents. Hot-water interruptions have become much less disruptive, and when maintenance problems do occur, the response is significantly faster than it used to be.

There are still some cosmetic and aesthetic things that could be improved, as there are at most large apartment communities, but the important functional issues I previously had concerns about have been addressed.

I have seen this property when it was going through some serious problems, so I don't make this assessment lightly. Based on what I see today, the difference is substantial. The property is being maintained, repairs are being made, security systems are functioning, and problems are being responded to.

When a property improves, that deserves to be acknowledged just as much as the problems deserved to be pointed out when they existed. In my experience, this community has made real and meaningful progress. Read More

I've had a great experience living at Avantus Apartments. The community is well maintained, and the staff is always friendly, welcoming, and quick to help whenever I have a question or need assistance. The maintenance team is responsive and does a great job addressing requests in a timely manner.
The location is another huge plus—it's close to shopping, restaurants, and major highways, making it easy to get wherever I need to go. I also appreciate the amenities and the effort the team puts into... keeping the community clean and enjoyable for residents.

The whole building is so dirty, the apartments are filled with mice and roaches. The crime happening at this place is continuous, my license plate was stolen in the garage (that might be due to the garage never working and thus always being open), saw my neighbor beating his gf in the parking lot, saw a neighbor shooting a gun in the parking lot. Some of the people living there are not good people, clearly this company doesn’t care about the residents but only about making money! The water... continuously goes out.
