Absolutely not worth it

On our 12th day living here, we had a terrible experience with our upstairs neighbor, who turned out to be very disruptive -vacuuming at 10:20 every night like clockwork. Management’s solution was to move us to another unit. We were never offered the option to break our lease at that time.

A month and five days into the second unit, we’d had enough. Between the constant smell of weed, and excessive noise from our neighbor who likes to party every sunday night (which isnt her fault, but it was...
clear the building was poorly constructed, zero soundproofing or air quality control and not built for any level of comfort) There is also a leak from the upstairs unit that when she flushes, it drips into our vent (we have a video for proof).
Everyone has the right to enjoy their unit without substantial interference from other tenants to ensure a peaceful & habitable living environment but we never got this here.

When we told management that we were finally leaving and asked if they could lower the termination fee, they claimed we were originally given the option to break the lease—but that was never communicated. If we’d known, we would’ve left immediately after that first horrible incident. We also noticed a change in our interactions with the Management, they were not as warm or responsive as before. While they still helped when needed, it felt like the support and kindness we initially received were no longer there.

In the end, we had no choice but to pay the termination fee just to get out of this complex. That should say enough.

Also very important for you to know that seven different neighbors came up to us saying that this new management is terrible. They do not care about the people. It’s all business.

To top it all off, we called corporate twice to speak to the supervisor and were promised a callback both times. We never got one.

Do yourself a favor— look elsewhere. Save yourself the stress. This place is not worth it.
