All of Kathy’s career endeavors have been service-related, so it is second nature for her to put her customers’ needs first. Kathy began her career by serving her country as a second lieutenant in the United States Army Reserves. After graduating cum laude from Prairie View A&M University, she worked as a pediatric oncology nurse and neonatal intensive care unit nurse. These experiences have been among the most challenging and enriching of Kathy’s life, enhancing her spirit of service. With an attentive, customer-service-driven approach to her business, Kathy takes a vested interest in each of her customers. She is wholeheartedly focused on using her capabilities and resources to exceed their property goals. A consummate professional, Kathy is meticulous and direct while also being patient and compassionate. Kathy’s ongoing thirst for knowledge has contributed to her pursuit of specialized education, and she has earned many professional designations and remarkable accolades. Kathy is a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA), and a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS™) with the Coldwell Banker Global Luxury program. In 2018, she was honored as REALTOR® of the Year and in 2022, Kathy reached new heights in her field when she won the Broker of Excellence Award from the Huntsville Area Association of REALTORS® and was awarded membership into the Coldwell Banker International President’s Circle, an honor reserved for the top 7% of agents worldwide. She also serves in leadership for the National Association of Real Estate Brokers. As a devoted leader in her industry, Kathy has broadened her expertise as an active member of local committees, and she served as the first female African-American President of the Huntsville Area Association of REALTORS® in 2016.
