We handle all the yard care/snow shoveling, and have a plowing contract with a local company that ensures you can always get out of the driveway and off to work on time. We clean all the shared areas (hallway, stairs).
It has big windows; a kitchen with a double stainless steel sink and smooth-top electric range; a large bathroom with a new glass-walled shower with rain head and separate handheld sprayer; and easy clean LVP flooring throughout.
The apartment shares the house air conditioning/furnace system, and also has its own baseboard heat. It is furnished with a sofa, TV table, coffee table, small desk, dining table with four chairs and extra leaf to seat 8 (and 2 wooden folding chairs), sideboard, rugs, small dresser, and small additional items (all as shown in the photos). The $40 application (applicable toward your first month's rent) covers a background check and a credit check including your income to rent ratio. We are a couple with a background in PBS/filmmaking, who are also the owners of 2 beagles which are mostly quiet and surprisingly well-behaved. I work from home (as a writer), and my husband is retired.
This is a great space for someone looking for a calm, quiet, environment. Our past renters have mostly been young professionals, and many have chosen to stay beyond their initial lease, and only left due to life changes (1 moved for job, 1 having a baby and needing a bigger place).
