I am currently on a 1-year lease, I am disappointed by the property manager's lie about the noise level. I live on one of the top floors and you can hear EVERY SINGLE VEHICLE on the road. To make it worse, this complex is near many hospitals, so there are ambulance sirens even at 1 am in the morning. I am giving 2 stars because the in-house amenities are nice and so is the sky-deck for hosting guests, but these are very scarcely used and are supposed to be in good condition as the apartments are... fairly new. The windows have very bad condensation every single day and staff asked us to wipe them to avoid mold, saying that is common. The heating/cooling is also quite uneven between rooms, so for people viewing apartments virtually DO NOT TRUST what you are told. Some corners have been cut in the name of luxury apartment. Unfortunately, I have had a very bad experience with Peloton. When looking for an apartment in Madison, I informed the owners that I was looking for something with parking, close to downtown, and that was within walking distance of businesses. They had reassured me that all of this was possible with their apartment complex. When I visited this last weekend, I was very disappointed. Downtown was 2 miles from the apartment and was not walkable. Parking was not available at the complex as all spots... were full, but I was encouraged to park on the street. I noticed quickly that the parking was very limited within certain hours or days of the week that would make it impossible to park on a daily basis near the apartment. There was also nothing open within a block of the apartment as most stores were closed or boarded up. I felt as though seeing the apartment complex did not match what the owners described to me at all and now I am forced to choose between losing my deposit and renting for 18 months or living somewhere unsafe and without parking for 18 months. I am very disappointed and was not contacted to discuss further although they said they would call me within 24 hours. Instead, I was given an email and no one returned my call.
