We paid an almost $1,000 security deposit and they took ALL OF IT. The reason? Because the carpet smelled like cat urine. This is completely and utterly untrue as I have had cats for years and have never had an issue with them peeing on the carpet. We lived in apartments (some of them extremely nicer) prior to living at the apartments on Woodale Ave. in Green Bay, WI and have gotten all (if not 95%) of our security deposit back at those places. Please do your research before renting from people... who have a solid plan to keep your security deposit as soon as you sign your lease.
On another note, the maintenance lady is EXTREMELY NICE and took care of everything quickly and efficiently.
