Great Management!

The staff at Montair at Somerset Hill have really been going above and beyond! I needed help with an oversized package delivery and the staff were kind enough to deliver it to my door. They also always asking me how things are going and if I need any maintenance items completed. I really appreciate the friendliness and going above and beyond to help a resident. Thank you!

Where do I even start? First of all everything in our apartment seems to be falling apart due to everything being outdated. Weve lived here since June of 2022 and we've had our doors fall off, the door handles fall off, the toilet clog many times, the heater stop working, the washer needing to be replaced, the door sweep needing to be replaced, the neighbors dogs bark all through the night and management does nothing. We now have a bigger issue and that being MOLD growing ALL OVER our apartment.... We told management AND the maintenance crew that the ceiling above our shower was starting to bubble and fill with water in SEPTEMBER and months go by and its now February and the once was small bubble never got fixed and was simply neglected turned intl a BIG bubble lf water so we called management and told maintenance again and finally someone came to look at the problem, they still havent fixed it they just cut a decent size hole in the paint to air it out which turned moldy. When they were told about mold they did nothing and still haven't done anything about it. All I got was a smile and a chuckle and a lazy apology from the new community manager Linda. I got very stern with her because we have a mold issue that wont get fixed when we have a 3 MONTH OLD BABY and she seemed so uninterested in helping us or at the least feeling sympathy. Linda has not shown to be a "community" manager due to her not caring for the community. I asked if they have tested it for mold and unsurprising they dont test for mold, its the responsibility of the residents who were wrongfully put in the situation. We are in the process of moving out early because it's unsafe for everyones health. While moving out we have found more issues due to more things falling apart. Im not the only one moving out due to MOLD, there are currently two more couples with children also moving out all for the same reason. I was told by my neighbor that her car was broken into and montair did nothing abaout it, not to mention they dont have any cameras set up. When it was really icy out montair failed to lay down salts to prevent falls and unfortunately i fell walking down the stairs to the parking lot with my at the time 2 month old in hand, i 100% blame montair for not preventing accidents from happening. Im in building number 8 so if your near me, CHECK FOR MOLD. Linda told me with the maintenance guy in the same room that there's mold everywhere in the complex.
