Breckenridge heights
The apartments are in a really nice location in tumwater. When looking at the apartments we were able to actually go in a room until move in day. So that is a down fall. I would suggest when looking at this place you look for a room not on the ground level. If you get a ground level room you will have a major problem with spiders. The faculty seem great so far and very helpful. The area seems safe for families and children

A Retreat with a View Above the Trees
A circular drive to the top of the complex perched on a bluff gives you a view, through the trees, of the harbor below. The open layout lets you drive past the clubhouse, gym, and swimming pool down to your apartment. Walking into this cozy 2-bedroom apartment brings you into the living room with a wood-burning fireplace and balcony off the dining room. The master bedroom has an adjoining galley-style bathroom with a walk-in closet. The apartment is on the second floor of a down sloping complex,... so there are views from the living room, balcony and kitchen of this quietly secluded corner terrace. The sunlight in the morning moves from the kitchen, to the balcony and ends up streaming into the living room at the end of the day. The enclosed balcony is above a surrounding copse of trees below, which catches the afternoon breeze and sunlight. The staff is attentive and keep the eco-friendly environment well-maintained with roses, peonies, and rhododendrons surrounding grass mini-parks. It is a short drive down the hill to shopping on the left or straight ahead down a tree-lined road curving around the bay. The drive through marinas of boats takes you to an excellent array of restaurants, many with views of the bay, which specialize in fresh seafood.
