The Walker Apartments are in a great location and, if your apartment is on the south side, have amazing views of Tacoma and Mount Rainier. The appliances are all very new and work well. The maintenance staff is great and very helpful. They accept pets, but no longer allow them in the courtyard. This makes it difficult to let your dog out late at night to use the bathroom. The management is constantly changing and trying to get a hold of them is often difficult. I have lived there for over a... year and the sewer bill has increased quite a bit since moving in for reasons unknown. However, I am ultimately pleased with my living situation and plan on staying for a while!

I am so happy that you are overall happy with the Walker Apartments. In regards to the courtyard the reason for not allowing pets out there is the issue that some residents have let their pets use the bathroom and not clean up after them. So... regrettably we had to make that change not to allow pets outside in the courtyard. With the utility bills the cost of water is always changing and this is something that is somewhat out of our control. We do post suggestions on the property website on water conservation tips. Please feel free to take a look and if you have any suggestions please feel free to post as well. We do understand that these cost can be somewhat expensive but they are current charges for the residents. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions.
