I rented a studio apartment for my first place and at first it's been pretty good, but a couple of months in and I'm ready to move out. The apartment itself is really nice with the exposed brick as a wall, but that's pretty much the extent of it. Management almost never answers your calls, and they rarely ever return them. The location sucks (with it being downtown), with homeless people all over the place, half the time it's impossible to find parking, and people with their modified Hondas or... whatever zipping down the road at 90 mph at like 11 at night (not to mention the people talking through some sort of megaphone or something around that time as well every night). Overall, I'd say that you'd be better off looking elsewhere if you want responsive management and a half decent location.
