I was excited to move to this building but it has been a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT so far, primarily because of two issues and the management has not solved those effectively:

1. Lots of noise comes in from the bedroom window: The building maintenance keeps on saying that it’s not something that they can solve. So they have just taped it up. When the window vendor came to inspect it, he apparently couldn’t hear any noise even though all the other people in the room could. And he said that there is... nothing that he could do. He said this is because it was downtown. (My previous building didn’t have any noise issues even though it was in downtown too).

2. Living room heater makes a lot of noise: At first the building maintenance said that it was operating at normal sound level. When I complained again, the maintenance guy said that he would replace it when he would get a new shipment. It has been three months ever since.

Don’t be fooled by 5-star reviews. They are mostly given by people who toured and didn’t end up living here. It’s an old building with lots of issues and the management and maintenance show no keenness in solving them effectively. As a renter the main concerns are location, quiet and responsiveness of staff and maintenance group. I had excellent experiences in all of these areas. I loved the location right by the lake, I never heard my neighbors, the staff at Juxt were super friendly and helpful and maintenance responded same day. Highly recommend this community!
