Fully furnished home. Spend time hearing small waves crash from the patio or snuggle up for a late night movie. This recently renovated apartment comes equipped with a fully stocked eat-in kitchen, washer & dryer, dual zone mini split (for... comfortable year-round heating and cooling), and a fully fenced garden area/yard.
The bedroom has a queen bed with a Purple 4 mattress which tends to lean on the softer side. The adjustable mattress base allows you to adjust the bed according to your needs. There is a TV in the bedroom and the living room.
The living room has a pullout full size sofa bed for one if you need to accommodate a guest for a night or two.
The kitchen comes fully equipped with Vitamix blender, electric tea kettle, toaster, microwave, essentials for cooking/baking/cleaning, and a coffee station with a french press & coffee maker. For laundry we stock wool dryer balls, stain removers, and an initial supply of detergent. The bathroom includes towels and essentials. You have your own high speed internet (not shared with any other users), an ALEXA (to play music if you'd like), and furniture to enjoy the outdoors under the covered patio. We supply hangers and hampers to use throughout your stay. We own and operate a couple of quaint short-term rentals in the area and believe in the importance of stocking the home with everything you may need. No need to buy and stock the home when you arrive :)
Please note that the bathroom has a shower, but no bath-tub and the toilet has a bidet.
We travel often and may or may not be at the home during your stay. We enjoy spending time outside in the yard, but will respect your space and privacy during your stay.
The apartment was recently renovated with a lot of care taken into consideration when it comes to soundproofing between the levels. Due to height restrictions and the existing flooring (above) we were limited to the amount of soundproofing we could accomplish for the lower level. With that being said you will likely hear our footsteps and our pup's small barks from time to time. We will do our best to limit noise from above, but if you are someone who prefers absolute quiet, this may not be a perfect fit. We do not host dance parties and are normally in bed by 10pm, but want to be fully transparent of the space and expectations. We do offer earplugs if you need them while you sleep. We do ask that our guests limit noise from 10pm to 8am. All of our guests, including long term, have reported no issues with noise.
Please note that we are located directly across from a popular neighborhood overlook picnic area and waterfront park. Neighbors frequently walk by and may wave and say hello if you are out by the street. It is a beautiful place for many to enjoy so if you are desiring utter & complete seclusion this may not be the best fit. We are located on a corner lot so the home is open to surroundings, but the apartment is tucked back off the street and private. If you decide to stay with us, we believe you will not be disappointed :).
