Zero out of 10 I do not recommend. I saw someone mention sleepless, yes don’t plan to get any sleep. You can hear everything going on outside on all ends. Watch your step, no one cleans up their dog poop. My kid lost two new pairs of shoes from piles of poop bigger than her feet. Not to mention when it rains the whole complex smells like animal urine until the ground dries up. Before moving in, I vacuumed (I own a Kirby, for those of you who know, you know how good that vacuum is) when I sat on... the carpet to put furniture together I was covered in animal hair. When I moved out they had the nerve to keep my deposit and charge me for carpet cleaning.

Sleepless at 525 Historic Kemsville
525 Historic Kempsville has beautiful apartments to offer but living here is not that simple at night. When I moved here last year after selling my house, I was pleased but soon find out that sleeping at night at this property is very short. Local garbage company has a habit of emptying large garbage containers at this residential area around 4 AM, with first truck coming around 4 AM and then the second truck around 4:30 AM. It is very disturbing as many apartments, including mine are right... across the street from garbage container’s multiple locations. This situation has started to negatively affect my job as I am going to work after restless nights. I am a healthcare professional, and my work ethics are very important to me. My multiple complaints about this situation to the management are not being effective since truck are continuing to come at 4:AM and this continue to affect my life here for months now. Still sleepless at 525 Kempsville. I am moving out.

Home Away From Home
Living at the 525 Apartments not only is a greaa t place to live, but place to feel like one's is on a mini vaction. The Amenties are the best, friendly community, very clean. In addition to the gym, exercise room, pool, etc. we also have grills located at the pool and between both apartment's building. Woe!!! I forgot to mention, we have 2 flat screen TV's by the pool.

2 Bedroom 2 Bath, 3rd Floor, Princess Anne Layout
I moved into my apartment March of 2019 & the only way I won’t renew my lease is if I have to leave VA. I love my apartment and my ceilings. I live on the third floor so mine are vaulted. The apartment is spacious. I am married so the closet does get a little crowded but we have come up with a good system for it. We both have a decent amount of shoes and clothes. I have a full sized laundry room. The bathroom in the master is a stand up shower & the guest bathroom tub is a lot bigger than a... standard tub. The parking spaces are narrow. One time the parking lot was full when I came home and I parked on the opposite side of my building but it made no difference getting to my apartment. (I used the lobby and took the elevator up) I have moved 3 times already and I can definitely say I will stay here. The staff is always friendly. The gym isn’t super big but you can get the job done for easier days and the pool is salt water!

In love.
I was one of the first people to move in here, and I have to say I'm absolutely in love. No corners were cut in the construction of these apartments, and all of the finishes are by a mile the highest end I've ever lived in, and I've lived in upwards of 10 apartment complexes in my lifetime. Spacious floor plans, quality flooring, huge closets, incredible kitchens, high-end appliances... these apartments have it all. Whenever guests come to visit, they're floored at how nice my unit is. It feels... like a home, not an apartment. The main office staff is friendly and helpful as well. This place is worth the price tag!
