Roaches no matter how clean I keep the apartment and in spite of paying for my own preventative measures. The audacity to charge monthly for pest control when they call once a year and if you miss it they never come.
Almost every part of the unit is dilapidated and crumbling. Kitchen floor is sinking in, two separate leaks from above unit causing bathroom ceiling to cave in, a large piece of the patio door broke off, the molding is physically... separating from every wall on one side of the apartment, the heat went out for a week in the middle of January, and these are only the major things worth mentioning.
Overbearing and predatory policies. Did nothing to clear snow or ice from sidewalks or parking lot, but were out at midnight February 1st towing people with expired parking passes who are all residents. Randomly prohibit having certain things on the patio like grills and "indoor furniture".
The leasing office and maintenance staff have been professional and seem to try their best. GSC is to blame for continuing to lease out atrocious units instead of investing in basic renovations. This place offers the most space you can get for the least money and its for these reasons. You will be happier in a smaller unit that is not falling apart.

Run!!!!
Please avoid these apartments! These apartments are 70 years old, living here for over a year and trapped in the lease. When I first moved in, my place was trashed! Leasing department is a scam/frauds. The communication between the leasing office to tenants is horrible! They will have maintenance people come unanounced when you specifically requested for them to come on a certain day when you will be home. You will get your package stolen constantly! FYI the maintenance people will leave a mess... after repairs and steal you stuff inside of your home. My neighbor had his apartment broken into and my other neighbor got his car stolen. Yes there are gated entries but they haven't worked for 2 years!! When you ask for help at the leasing office they will give you incorrect information thats leads to more expenses. Theres mold in the basement apartments! Theres also friendly little roaches/crickets and mice you will find while living here. Its not a safe area and not a safe place to live! Please run!!!

Waste of time
Scheduled an appointment to view a studio/1 bedroom apartment. I got the reminder email as well as the reminder text. The lady….she didn’t even offer her name kept asking if I even had an appointment. The finds we talked about felt like she was just brushing me off and could not get me out of there fast enough. Definite waste of time and had no availability until June 24th to show the apartment I was looking for.
She said the application fee was $150…3x the cost from the app.
Definitely not a... place I want to be apart of.

Terrible place to live.
Current resident. They have a ton of work to do on their apartments, and will take their time to fix any issues.
Took about three weeks to have the bathroom actually function after I moved in.
Also, they will tow residents cars without notice. Several were towed last night, including mine.
Funny thing, I tried to get the permit, but… they were supposedly too busy to give me one.
All were residents.

Rodent Infested
I don’t recommend living here. I been living in building 403 since February 2023 up until November 2023. I had to break my lease due to RODENT Infestation throughout the whole building. The building is not safe to live in. I had to break my lease due to the rodent infestation and now is being charged thousands of dollars for a place that wasn’t safe for my family to live in. We have a year old that couldn’t learn crawl or walk because the rodents was so bad. We have had 7 rodents and caught and... KILLED 6th of the rodents. Which management doesn’t do anything to actually fixed the problem. I have put in work orders after work orders every time, I have seen and caught/killed the rodent. We have spent hundreds on remedies and traps because the exterminators barely shows up, when you pay for it in your rent. I have complained multiple times and it just gets shrugged off. They just come fixed the hole then another rodent will eat hisself back in. I have seen the exterminators walk in my apartment and walked back out quickly showing on my camera that didn’t do anything. I knew it was a problem when on the first day after moving everything in, the neighbor said this building has rodents. I have had multiple water leaks in my bathroom also. The walls also is very thin, you can hear people conversations, tv’s, music, coughing, dogs barking, neighbors having intercourse and etc. You also can smell when neighbors smoke throughout their apartment or burn their food. There have been a bullet hole in my window since move in day and never got fixed even after putting in a work order to be fix. I also been threatened to have my door knob taken off my door after one of their irresponsive maintenance people had lost the key to the apartment.
