The rooftop amenity space needs to be more actively monitored to ensure that residents can enjoy it in a peaceful and respectful environment. Recently, there have been repeated instances of large, disruptive groups involving intoxicated individuals who do not reside in the building negatively impacting the experience for those who do.
Guest policies are clearly outlined, including the limit of two guests per resident in amenity areas. However, these rules are not being consistently followed or... enforced. When residents disregard these guidelines without consequence, it creates an unfair and unpleasant situation for those who do comply.
With pool season underway, please strictly enforce guest rules and limit usage to one guest per apartment and/or to only permit residents so residents can fully enjoy the pool.
In addition, there are growing concerns regarding building access and overall security. Certain amenity areas, such as the pool, are frequently occupied by individuals lounging without any monitoring. This creates both a safety risk and a lack of accountability for who is using these spaces. These areas should have restricted access controls similar to resident fobs, ensuring only authorized individuals can enter at specific hours. Allowing unrestricted access increases the likelihood of misuse and undermines overall building security.
Safety and security need to be addressed more proactively before conditions begin to mirror the decline seen in other nearby buildings. Taking action now through stronger enforcement, better monitoring, and improved access control will help preserve the standard of living residents expect.
If building management does not take a more proactive role in enforcing these policies, improving access control, and holding residents accountable, the overall standard of the community will inevitably decline.
