A room available in our clean, comfortable 5 bed / 3 bath home in Millcreek. It’s a warm, lived-in house with great common spaces: a cozy living room with a fireplace, an open kitchen with an island, a bright dining area, plus... a finished basement hangout with a couch and table. One guest bedroom is reserved for visitors and will NOT be rented.
This is one of the best parts of Millcreek. You’re close to Brickyard / Millcreek Commons for groceries, coffee, restaurants, bars, and gym options. It’s also an easy hop to Sugar House and downtown, and you’ve got quick access to the freeways for getting up to Big/Little Cottonwood or Park City.
The upstairs bedroom is $900/month. You'll a dedicated bathroom across the hall that is occasionally used by guests.
Out back, we have a garden and a built-in firepit on the patio, which makes for a pretty perfect setup for summer hangs.
Month-to-month lease, deposit is one month’s rent, and all utilities are included. No smoking. We do have a friendly little indoor/outdoor cat, so no additional pets, please.
We are in our 20's and early 30s, and we love hanging out with each other, having periodic shared dinners, and inviting our friends over for BBQs, board game nights, movie nights, and other fun social gatherings. We do host occasional bigger gatherings like a 4th of July BBQ, Pie and Beer day, Friendsgiving, etc., but definitely no ragers. We are active and outdoorsy—skiing, boarding, running, tennis, playing ultimate frisbee, etc. We’re open-minded, non-judgmental, LGBTQ+ friendly.
Finally, about you: we’re looking for roommates who are employed/financially responsible, low-drama, considerate about shared spaces, and generally friendly. Everyone is welcome to their own time and space, but we’d love to live with people who are down to be social.
