I love living here!

I've been here for about a year and I have some friends who also live here. For a starter apartment when you are on a budget or just trying to save some money these apartments are really cute. The vibe of the apartment is so peaceful. It's quiet, and the staff and maintenance are always so nice and helpful.

!

I have lived here over 2 years now. The staff is very helpful and friendly. There is a nice pool and a soda machine. The location is great! Walking distance to many restaurants, sit down and fast food. Some 24 hours. Close to Texas State College. Great for football and baseball games! Both laundry rooms on premises were just modernized. Gas stations right across street. 24 hours. 7-11. Walmart and many shops within walking distance. Tanger Outlet Malls less than 5 miles away. Movie theater,... caverns, glass bottom boats, snake farm, Santa's Ranch, all nearby. Halfway between Austin/San Antonio. Near airports. Good bus service. Close to library/church/activity center. Staff is VERY quick in handling any problem. I would give it a perfect rating, except for a few things. One, there was an unfortunate murder on the grounds. Only one, rare, a fluke, can happen anywhere, but did happen! Two, during the Memorial Day flood, parking lot flooded and many cars lost/damaged. Problem, at times, with people not picking up after pets. (Although, there are a few stray cats around.) Personal preference, I preferred the old coin operated laundry machines. Now, the new ones are credit/debit card only. Most of these problems are NOT the fault of the management. Sometimes things can't be controlled. Neighborhood is really safe. Close to police, fire, city hall. For the most part, neighbors stay to themselves. Plenty of parking. In general, it is a very good place to live. Management controls every aspect that they can. When I first moved here from New Jersey), I rated it excellent. Circumstances have caused me to downgrade my opinion. Rent is cheap for value! (1 br, 2 bath, with studio, $715) Near Interstate 35. Near trains. Sometimes noise from freeway. Sometimes noise from train. Sometimes slow moving train cuts town in half for a few minutes. It is easy to get on/off I-35. I don't know what else to say. Great town for college kids and elderly. Two rivers close for tubing, but did cause flood. Plenty of entry level jobs. Everywhere! No problem finding some kind of job, but mostly fast food/entry/low pay. Population growing by leaps/bounds. I think I covered everything!
