This new company couldn’t care less about how it’s inconveniencing their residents while renovating. They will give you information regarding the renovations that are incorrect or just flat out not true. Then they send crews in for random things without notifying you. For example we were recently told that our building was going to have its desks re-surfaced. They showed up two days late for that and then two days later a random crew tried to open my apartment while I was in it American Landmark... took over to install new lighting fixtures. We were not told about the lighting fixture crews coming at all. They also told us they’d be in our units for approx. one week. I’m going on week three living out of boxes because I had to remove everything from under my cabinets so they could install countertops and paint cabinets. They did the countertops two days late and took off my cabinet doors. So I’ve been living in a half-done apartment draped in plastic wrap with construction dust everywhere, open hole in my wall with wires hanging out. They also censor their residents trying to complain on the resident portal. So since they won’t allow me to air my grievances in private, I will do so in public for anyone who may be looking at this complex. So to you, if you are still reading this, don’t rent here. This new management company doesn’t care about their residents. Let’s not even talk about the Amazon package locker I’ve been paying for for three months that isn’t here, something’s not adding up. Management is under A million dollar renovation yet pool is stinky closed and green during the hottest months in Texas. Thank you for your failed responses…. We now have a trash company but no trash can in the laundry room. Upper management needs to come and handle things. This is just one of the many things wrong with this property.

Being a young recently graduated college kid with a 4 year old and a newborn son I needed a place to stay that would fit my budget and at the same time give me and my sons the feeling of being safe in our home . Raising kids is hard enough as it is , I was only able to afford the one bedroom but that is more then enough . Coming to Westwood apartments was the best choice that I could possibly make . The application process was amazing . The manager here has been more then helpful in every way... possible. Before signing the lease just upon looking at the apartments I knew that this was going to be the right apartment for me . My girlfriend who was pregnant at the time with our second child came to look at the apartments with me to ensure that our kids were going to be safe . The manager made sure that she did everything in her power to acamodate everything possible that she was able to . The apartment itself has been wonderful to us. I have had no complaints at all I am very thankful for all the things that comes into my life whether it be big or small . I originally signed a short term 7 month lease for many of reasons . I was amazed at the price for the apartments especially considering the location but to my disbelief these are true to word. I truly want to say how thankful and blessed I am that i was able to find these apartments when I did. At the time I had leased out the very last apartment that was available in the lot. So thank you Westwood apartment homes for making living affordable for those who are unable to spend 1000 a month just on rent and thank you for providing a place for my sons and myself to lay our heads . The apartments are in a good location you have restaurants all around you and stores as well convenient to highways
