Great place to call home

My son and I have called Parkwood home for almost 4 years now. The staff in the office and the maintenance men are wonderful. There have been many times they have gone above and beyond for us! Anytime something has broken they have fixed or replaced it. Elizabeth and Rose are amazing with customer service.

Terrible Complex

The outside of this apartment is trashed, over populated (people playing in the parking lot) and many, many damaged vehicles (parked too close to your vehicle and just wait what your vehicle will look in a few weeks to come).

The staff tells you that they will set you up to be contacted for future openings is fake. They blame the IT guy....

Too many staff members, say different things on what you will pay, about the pictures already posted here, which apartment is ready and then come up with...
apologizing for not updating the facts.

Our community is almost 100 % occupied. When a unit does become available they do lease out very quickly. We have waitlists for certain floorplans, and Residents are always extending or resigning a new lease as their current lease expires. I... apologize if you were misled by a leasing agent that a unit would be available. Please reach out to me at Service@Univesco.com and let me know what floorplan you are interested in. I would love to assist you to getting you into your desired unit.

Awesome customer service

I have been living at Parkwood apt for 2 yrs. i started with an efficiency, and recently upgraded to a bigger space in my apt. Every time i walk into the office whether they are busy or slow i am immediately greeted with a warm welcome. The staff goes above and beyond to earn your business and keep it. i want to give a special shout out to Elizabeth. She deserves a raise. i originally didn't get approved because of my credit but she went to get extra mile to find out the reason for my denial and... gave me the steps to fixed. thank you for all you do

Don’t Do It! Save your money and help your blood pressure

If you like dependable cold air and warm heat, running water, privacy when you leave your apartment, and security for your vehicle; this is NOT the apartment to move into. Maintenance emergencies are not responded to until the next day, (no urgency whatsoever). Damage to my car doors (no respect with the door dings). Staff watches cameras to see when you leave, so they know when to come look around (they call it “inspections”), but never fix anything reported properly. Patch up work as usual.... This new maintenance team seem to know what they’re doing. You just have to get them there and get approval for the necessary work. I can not wait for my lease to end!

You Get What You Pay For

While I think the price is super hard to beat for the area, having the water turned off randomly, regularly AND with only a sudden notice is extremely annoying. Pretty sure there hasn't been a single week since we've been here that the water wasn't turned off at least once.

Also, there was a gas leak that required the hot water to be cut off (ended up being off for 7 days straight.) While I understand the safety implications of such an issue, the Staff have told half truths and kept residents...
in the dark for the first several days. Parkwood told us our only options is to boil hot water or to go to pay for a gym membership and use the showers there. Parkwood then told us if we weren't happy we could move.

We had a massive leak in our bedroom from the window. It was "fixed" with no warning to prepare for our bedroom to be repaired and partially painted. The repairmen splattered paint all over our belongings, ruining several pairs of pants as well as messing up our headboard.

We had come home at 1:15pm and after taking pictures went to the office to show the damage. Elizabeth in the office got smart and yelled that she did give us a headsup about it and that she called in the morning. We use iPhones and our log shows she called us at 12:01pm (afternoon.)

Really hard to recommend this place. I'd look elsewhere.
