This is by far the most money-hungry apartment complex I have ever lived in. Ever since 29SC Living took over management, my experience went downhill.
Management and communication are extremely poor. You have to send multiple emails just to receive one response. Staff are friendly in person, but they consistently fail to follow up or complete even simple requests. Trash frequently piles up in the back of the property, dog waste is left throughout... the grounds, and there have been ongoing issues with theft in the area. The gates rarely stay closed for more than a week at a time.
Due to the ongoing issues, I decided to move out. Then move out process was horrible. The apartment complex that I was moving to had to follow up multiple times. It’s as if they were trying to sabotage my move in to a new complex. Even worse, they waited 2–3 months to send an itemized statement with questionable deductions from my security deposit. Under Texas law, landlords must provide an itemized list of deductions within 30 days. Failing to do so forfeits the right to withhold from the deposit.
Before moving out, I paid for a professional deep cleaning service and documented the condition of the apartment with extensive photos and video. Despite this, they submitted photos claiming the unit was left dirty. I even moved out five days early to ensure everything was spotless.
To make matters worse, the leasing office provided maintenance with keys to my unit while I still had personal belongings inside, and my husband’s shoes were stolen. The only response we received was, “We apologize for the inconvenience.”
Please save yourself the stress and hassle. There are other apartments in the area that will give you far greater peace of mind. Also, the manager at The Peri is also the manager at The Milo, so prospective renters may want to keep that in mind when considering their options. If I could rate this apartment complex in specifically the management company 29SC living it would be a -1000 stars. Professionally and morally definitely not a good look.

Unclear, Inconsistent Billing and Unresponsive Management
The billing experience here was unacceptable, largely due to poor communication from Treyvon and Christine.
Charges appeared without clear explanation, and residents were left to repeatedly chase basic billing information. Requests for itemized statements or clarification were met with delays, vague responses, or no response at all.
This lack of transparency and follow-through creates unnecessary financial stress and makes it impossible to feel confident in the accuracy of billing.... Management’s handling of resident accounts shows a serious lack of professionalism.
Proceed with caution if accurate billing and responsive management matter to you.

The management team really listens and cares for you. They send follow up emails after the annual check up and come fix/correct things very nice and fast. They cleaned the mold in my bathtub now it looks brand new. After the complaints, I think they rescheduled the trash pickup truck so it won't disrupt our sleep early in the morning again... But I think they've not checked and changed/cleaned the AC filer in my unit during the annual check yet :D so im gonna request a work order and sure... they'll come real fast

So far it’s almost our third year here and we are starting to see a little bit of more improvements. I just wish when they did pressure wash the stairways and the hallways in our building that they actually tried to remove the stains on the floor left by valet trash pick up. There is still trash around the building buildings when you walk around just some tenants. Don’t really care for the community and like to litter. As far as the leasing office and maintenance there’s been a huge improvement... and great communication when there is a problem to be fixed so we definitely do appreciate that this place can be a really great place. It just needs a lot of TLC.
