Apartment has new management since the fall of 2020. Started off with lack of communication and went down hill from there. I have been lied to on at least one occasion and maybe more but can't tell from the poor follow up from management. I came home to a total flooded apartment yesterday and no 24 hour maintenance to be found. Water coming out of light fixtures and puddles of water in every room. Anything touching the floor is soaked. I spent the night at a hotel. Informed the manager (Perla)... at 10am. She came to assess the damage at 1:30pm and said someone would be out to remove the water and clean the carpet today. Water damage due to a mistake a plumber made.. It's 9:30pm and I haven't heard from anyone! Like I said lack of communication, poor follow up, and total disregard for my safety and well-being. Welcome to the new 8700 Broadway Apartments. Update: spoke with assistant manager on Saturday and she stated someone looked at the apartment while I was not there on Friday. The stated remedy changed but no one informed me. The head maintenance was supposed to come out on Saturday to fix the leaks a plumber caused on Friday. He never showed up but that is the normal response. Tell me something to my face and do the opposite. It's a three day weekend and I doubt anyone reach out to me until Tuesday. I Do Not Recommend This Apartment Complex.
