Joni Freeman is the Principal Broker and founder of JL Marsaw & Co Realtors. Her unique journey to real estate began with a Doctorate of Pharmacy from Xavier University of Louisiana. Although transitioning from healthcare to real estate might seem unconventional, both fields share a strong commitment to service and helping others achieve their goals. In her healthcare career, Joni was dedicated to improving the well-being of her patients with personalized care and expert guidance. She brings that same passion for service to her real estate practice, understanding that buying, selling, or investing in real estate is a significant decision, similar to making important health choices. Her healthcare background has instilled a meticulous attention to detail, a focus on education, and a deep responsibility for her clients’ well-being. As a REALTOR®, Joni holds several key designations and certifications, including Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), New Home Co-Broker (NHCB), Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA), Seller Representative Specialist (SRS), and Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource (SFR). She also has extensive experience managing both residential transactions and renovation projects, ensuring comprehensive service for her clients.
