Great property to be at, community is always clean and the office staff is always so nice

Community is beautiful, clean, and the front office staff are always so nice!

How this place has 4 stars I'll never understand because this is quite possibly one of the worst apartment complexes I've ever lived in. I've lived here for almost two years now and at first it was really nice living here, but the place has only gone downhill.

First - the apartments were built entirely too fast and are settling HORRIBLY! There are cracks in our walls, you can see the visible space that's separating the counters and the walls, half of our doors had to be shaved down to even... properly close, there are cracks in our bathroom sink that the front office tried to blame on us despite us telling them the crack was starting when the property surveyed the apartments for settling, the hallways have huge gaps in the cement and you can even notice the settling outside of the apartment complex.

Second - I'm not sure why this is advertised as a "gated" community, because the front gates are almost always broken, the gates around the community are never fully closed/easy to get into from outside the community. This has led to SEVERAL car break-ins and my partner even had their car STOLEN from this complex. I understand theft is not the problem of the complex, but they don't even pretend to care to fix the problem of this community being so easy to break into?? They say they have security cameras, but those are only located on the leasing office and mail room. When we asked for security footage after our car was stolen we were told they would contact their security team(whoever that is because apparently it's ran by a third party) and we never heard anything back regarding the footage. So I'm going to assume that the security cameras don't even work. Not only that, but we've had mail thieves as well. If the security cameras work - how are these thieves continuously getting away with burglarizing this residence?

Third - this apartment complex cares more about "privacy screens" and lights on your patio than they care about the upkeep of the property. The hallways are FILTHY, the pool is almost always gross and filled with food, paper plates, beer cans, you name it- it's probably in the pool. The cabana furniture is so awfully stained I wouldn't even recommend touching it with gloves on. Residents let their animals pee and poop on their patios and all throughout the complex without cleaning it up, so be aware.

There were a few hiccups when we moved in but theissues were handled quickly and smoothly. There are several doors not operational that lead to the greenbelt so that’s disappointing. I hope they are open soon. Also a little disappointing we didn’t get a move in gift but owell! Overall, amenities are amazing and each person we have met within the office has been amazing!!

We have lived here for 14 months and it’s been great. Such a beautiful community! We have enjoyed our time living here. Amazing amenities!
