As a graduate student, my experience living on Highland Avenue has been very positive. The location is incredibly convenient, close to campus, libraries, and essential stores, which makes managing a busy academic schedule much easier. It’s also a quiet and safe neighborhood, which is perfect for studying and focusing on work.
The apartment itself is comfortable and gets good natural light, creating a nice environment for both studying and relaxing. I’ve found the management to be responsive... whenever any issues arise, and maintenance requests are handled in a timely manner. The overall atmosphere is calm, and many residents are respectful, which adds to a productive living space.
Overall, Highland Avenue is a great place for graduate students looking for a peaceful, convenient, and budget-friendly living option.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Maintenance responds promptly. No bug problems (yet, anyway) aside from a few ants. I wish there was laundry in unit though, and there were some issues with paint job and dust everywhere (and a dead centipede) when I moved in
