MAA Nashville West is located in Bellevue, TN in the 37209 zip code.
I strongly advise against living at MAA Nashville West. The front office and maintenance staff consistently show a lack of care or accountability. They’re quick to tow cars—almost like they’re trying to be a stricter version of local law enforcement—but slow to respond to actual issues that matter.
On top of that, they hit residents with extra fees at move-out (carpet cleaning, carpet replacement, apartment cleaning, etc.), refuse to refund security deposits, and perform subpar maintenance work... . When I moved in, the carpet wasn’t even secured properly, and both a family member and I cut our feet on it. The dryer was so old and poorly maintained that it literally caught on fire during my first load.
Even worse, a separate fixture in the apartment was so neglected that it snapped while I was using it, causing a catastrophic injury. It severed an artery in my wrist, required emergency surgery, and could have been fatal if I hadn’t gotten immediate medical care. The complex was notified, yet did nothing to meaningfully address the situation beyond belatedly fixing the broken fixture—something that should have been replaced long before move-in.
I’m sharing this to warn others. The combination of unsafe conditions, surprise fees, and complete indifference from management makes this place dangerous and not worth the risk. Do not live here.

Best Apartment Complex
This is my third time ever renting an apartment, and by far, renting here at the Grandview in Nashville has been the best experience. Because of all their amenities, plus the food trucks that come every Thursday, not to mention the amazing maintenance team and staff, I feel like I’m on vacation rather than living here. It’s only about an 11 minute drive to downtown Nashville. Originally we were just going to rent for 11 months, and then buy a house, but we have decided to extend our lease for... another year. We’re just enjoying the proximity to downtown too much, not to mention the enjoyment of living here. I thought it was going to be difficult going back to living in an apartment, after owning a house for 20 years. My husband and I were greatly surprised at how comfortable it was to downsize. Plus it takes me a fraction of the time to clean our three-bedroom apartment, then it did our huge house in California. It leaves us a lot more time to have fun downtown!

Disappointed
We moved to TN to be closer to family. The apartment is nice however people do not follow rules. Theres dog poop all over where people don't clean up after their dogs like they are suppose to. We have neighbors on the ground floor who smoke weed all day long and the smell comes into our living room and bathroom. We can not open our windows or patio door or even enjoy the patio due to the smell. We have mold around our windows from where they don't seal. We have to constantly dry the water in the... window seals. I definitely will not be renewing our lease come October. We have only been here 3 months and already regret it.oh and forget about gated community the gate stays open so long that 3 to 4 cars will speed in behind you when you come through.

Ok Apartments for location
I have lived at Grande View for a little over a year now and here are the pros and cons.
Pros: The apartments themselves are in a great location. Close to the city, close to natural parks, close to shops. Neighborhood shrubs are well taken care of. Overall aesthetically pleasing Good maintenance team. Quiet area. Very safe.
Cons: Washing machines and dryers are the worst I’ve ever had. They refuse to replace them but instead send someone to look at them, tighten a few screws and remove... some dust. I have never been able to dry something in one cycle. It generally takes 3 cycles on “high heat” which obviously has a negative impact on the electric bill.
There are a ton of bugs. All different sorts. Especially in the summer. This is out of their control obviously but their measures to keep them out of homes aren’t the best. Despite asking them to remove the hornet nests from my balcony railings before spraying , they simply sent a guy to spray around them so eventually they just came back. The windows and sliding doors are not properly sealed so large flying bugs will get in through the holes and heat will leak out of them in the winter.
Mailbox is not secure. I would not feel comfortable sending important mail off through the boxes on this complex. I have to go directly to the post office because someone has been vandalizing the mail boxes. Also, since the first outgoing mail box was destroyed a new one was created via a hole cut into another box, however, a soft tug on the hole will open the entire wall of boxes. I have tried to send off cards only to come back the next day, open the “new” the outgoing box myself and find that they’re still there.
There is always a pile of abandoned furniture in the furthest corner of the complex . I noticed this before i moved here and was told that they have someone that comes on the weekdays to collect it. This might be true if they said every 2-3 weeks someone comes to collect it. Obviously residents are leaving their old things where they don’t belong but management needs to be more proactive about cleaning it up.
