I had the absolute pleasure of calling The Laurent home for over two years, and honestly, I can’t say enough good things. These were two of the craziest years of my life, and the staff here made every single twist and turn so much easier. From the wonderful property managers to the always-friendly front desk crew, everyone was flexible, understanding, and truly cared about the residents.
The living conditions? Top notch. Everything was well-maintained, clean, and updated regularly. The amenities... were an awesome! The pool was my happy place, the lake house was perfect for relaxing or hanging out with friends, and the gym was always in great shape. They take pride in keeping everything looking and feeling fresh, and it shows.

Special shout-out to Edward from maintenance! This man is a Rockstar. Every time something needed fixing, he was quick, efficient, and incredibly kind. Honestly, all the staff were fast-acting, helpful, and genuinely a joy to interact with.

And the location? You can’t beat it. Best spot in Myrtle Beach, hands down.

This place is not luxury living. It is poorly managed and office staff never help resolve any issues. It is rundown, gnats in many apartments,dirty hallways,dog poop all over, robberies and assaults in parking lot. They would not install cameras. They are letting anyone in to lease it’s disgraceful. This was a beautiful place last year when I leased an apartment. But it is clearly not that anymore. They raised the rent on some tenants almost 400.00 / month. After living at the Lively for two years it came time for me to move out. I will say I have never had a worse experience moving out of any apartment before! They told us one thing and did the opposite. They even sent me a letter offering and payment plan for the remainder of my balance, and they won’t honor it! There are much better apartments that I am sure are more honorable than the Lively at Carolina Forest. I would not recommend this complex.

Moved to Myrtle Beach on short notice and after searching diligently decided to reside at Lively at the Carolina Forest. The process was a little difficult being that everything was done online with minimal involvement of on site team but I was satisfied with the Apartment amenities and luxury feel overall. My only complaint would be that the apartment walls are very thin. Literally can almost hear neighbors conversations through the walls. Overall I enjoyed my time at Lively at Carolina Forest... until new Easlan Management took over in the middle of my lease term of 12 months. Did not really feel like the new management did anything to gain the trust of current residents and did not try to involve the community as the previous management did. Fast forward to the end of my lease, the Lease Agreement contract is a little deceptive. One section says the 60 day notice is required as Intent of moving out "Even if you come to the end of your lease contract" but just few sections underneath that it says the "Minimum" requirement is at least 30 days. I was in the middle of transitioning to new position for my job and received word of official transfer 45 days prior and immediately put Notice to Vacate (45 days). All in all after moving out and speaking with both Lively at Carolina Forest and Eslan Management they retained over half of my security deposit of 1k and did not even attempt to try and look into situation.
