The community and residents are great. I just wish the apartments had more natural sunlight. The surrounding trees really block the natural sunlight from entering in which is a downside.

Maintenance has gotten a lot better, but the neighborhood has changed a bit and well not for the better. With many residents do not pay attention to any rules.

We’ve lived here very happily on the 2nd floor for 17.5 years. When a 1st floor apartment in our same building became available w/our exact same floor plan layout & orientation, we made the very important decision to move. Moving is never easy but we believe it was meant to be. So very thrilled to be able to continue our resident journey in Avana Thornblade!

I love the location and view from my balcony. It is woodsy and has a beautiful flowing river. I have met some wonderful new friends. The staff is always eager to please.

I’ve had a great experience living in this apartment community, especially because of its excellent location. The property is conveniently situated close to major roads, shopping centers, restaurants, and schools, which makes daily life very easy and stress-free. Being just a short drive from Uptown and other key areas is a huge advantage.
