Safety Lighting needs to be better throughout the whole complex. The gate needs to be working properly. And there should be a security guard driving through on a regular basis which is not happening. There’s a lot of crime right around that area and nobody seems to be doing anything to be proactive.
The cost of the apartments is too high considering the location and age of the apartments.

Very goid Started out rocky with billing mix up, but we got it straightened out. Also work orders have been taken care of. Very good

Dump Workers are not nice other than maintenance, a lot of things don’t work, and overall the place tries to make the outside look good when everyone’s lease is nearly up. There is no point in gates if one stays open

Poor Management
The Retreat is overall poorly run and not well kept. The management has changed several times since I moved in and it is difficult to get someone to return a phone call or handle a maintenance request. The buildings themselves are not well kept and the gates are usually broken and left open, so we had several break ins.

Save your money and headaches
You can find a cheaper place, the area is terrible, the “gates” are almost never actually closed, there has been six trafficking, shootings, and break ins, my roommate had chairs stolen off the porch. And the worst of all is the management, they barely respond to you, steal your money and then try to get you back next year. Parents, who find your kids a safer place to live.
