Barbara joined Williams and Stuart Real Estate in 2015. She brings decades of experience, leadership, and a successful career backed by an award-winning reputation from clients and peers. She has proven to be an active listener, which has served her clients well. Understanding that buying or selling a home may be a stressful event, Barbara combines her experience and education into a powerful combination when advising clients how to navigate the real estate process. As a retired registered nurse, Barbara responds to her client’s needs efficiently and effectively and is not afraid to go to the source or determine the best practice for handling the many difficult situations that may arise in any given transaction. She is a powerful negotiator and is dedicated to honing her skills through continued and active education and by staying cutting edge on area market conditions. Barbara resides on Aquidneck Island and retains an office at 513 Broadway, Innovate Newport. Her accomplishments are many, including Newport County’s Realtor of the Year, and has been awarded the Five Star Professional from Rhode Island Monthly magazine every year since it began to publish. She is also an Accredited Buyer’s Realtor, ABR, a Certified Residential Specialist, CRS, and Senior Real Estate Specialist, SRES. She also holds the credentials as an Accredited Staging Professional, ASP. Working close to the Newport Naval Base, Barbara understands the particular concerns of our military and retired military personnel, and is especially astute and enjoys handling their real estate needs with skill.
