The people in the office are amazing and they do their best to help when they can, but I wouldn't recommend moving here unless you are financially struggling, on a strict budget, or you are willing to throw all your things away when you move out. This is an older apartment complex with very little updates. It feels like a dorm for a small local college.

Pros: Maintenance is fast to respond and respectable. You won't have to pay for heat or even turn it on so you will have low Duke bills in the... winter months. They turn on the building heat with the register vents along the bottom wall of every room and you will be roasting all of winter and spring. Chocolate will melt just sitting on the table. They have events for the kids like easter egg hunt. The dog park is fenced in and easily accessible. The laundry room has lots of washers and dryers ranging from $2 to $3 a load. Close to the highway and walking distance to Walmart or UDF for a treat. Wasn't really an issue of people stealing packages, which was a huge plus. Pool is nice and clean and the gym is 24 hrs with a key card. Very clean with lots of options.

Cons: Bugs. The roach problem is bad. Pest control will come out when you request them as opposed to regularly scheduled sprays, but they can only do so much. The roaches come through the drains, outlets, and the heat vents attached to the wall of every room, no matter how much they spray, they come back. All the apartments are connected by the drains and vents so the bug problem can't be truly controlled. The dumpsters are always full because everybody is throwing away all their things especially mattresses and furniture due to the bug problem. The walls are PAPER THIN. I could hear every word my neighbor said in their room as if I was in the room with them and they were obviously talking in hushed tones so the kids wouldn't hear them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Even though it’s an older complex, it’s lovely once you get into your actual apartment. It’s only our second day here and we are loving it!!! Amanda and Carrie are amazing! Very helpful but brief so I didn’t feel overwhelmed. The welcome packet is great for setting up WiFi and understanding the rules! The park, pool, and field seem to be in good shape as well!! Decently priced ! Affordable!

I lived here for a few years, it’s been down hill since day one. The buildings are literally rotting. If you would actually want to tour an apartment pick a random building and walk the halls and then get back into your car and be glad you didn’t actually waste your time meeting with the horrible office staff. I’m not sure how they are even allowed to rent these apartment they aren’t safe.

I have a hard time believing the 5 star reviews are from real people. I don't live here but I visit fairly often. They do not take care of this place. Carpet is nasty and stained in the hallways. They never vacuum carpet or mop entryways. dumpsters are always overflowing and trash blowing everywhere. Lights are out in the entry ways. Unfortunately, after only a week we had to move out of these apartments due to an infestation. When we initially entered the apartment it smelled of old glue and the air conditioner in the main bedroom had mold covered completely around the outside of it. There where a few minor problems that wouldn’t have mattered, but Roaches is something that I can’t handle. The apartments agent we were in contact with was very responsive and made sure to let us know bi-weekly treatments will be done to the... building. This is a problem when you want to move furniture in and have to worry about it being exposed to bugs. We only brought a mattress in because immediately we were worried. We were told not to treat the roaches ourselves which was hard given we lived there and again: they only come every two weeks. We were able to leave the lease, but without the full deposit.
