I’ve been living here for about 9 months, and now that summer has started, the air conditioning in my apartment is not working properly. Maintenance initially came out and said they fixed it, but the issue was never resolved. The temperature in my apartment continues to stay around 80°F, which is extremely uncomfortable and not reasonable living conditions. The only solution that has been provided so far is a portable air conditioner for one room, but that does not cool the rest of the apartment... and has not solved the overall problem. This has been going on for far too long, and I feel like my concerns are not being taken seriously.
I have also asked for contact information for someone higher up who may be able to help resolve this issue more quickly, but I have not been provided with any information

DO NOT RECOMMEND
I do not recommend living here. The price may seem worth it at first, but it definitely comes with consequences. It has been issue after issue with the furnace since moving in 10 months ago. We went without heat multiple times throughout the winter, and during the warmer months the air conditioning constantly goes out. Maintenance has been out several times to “fix” things, but the repairs always feel rushed and half done because the same problems keep happening over and over again. At one point... there were also cockroaches, which was extremely frustrating and concerning.
The ladies in the office were always nice when speaking with them, but at the end of the day it never felt like management truly cared about the residents or their well being. The maintenance team clearly needs more help because the building and utilities are old and not properly maintained.
Overall, you may save some money living here, but you’ll end up dealing with a lot of stress and ongoing problems in return.

I Love My Townhome
I have been with Sussex Square for almost 5 years and I love it here. It's very spacious and everything is nearby. My Property Manager Ashley is very nice and understanding. I hope that this will continue to be my home going forward. The maintenance guy is very good also!

Large Town Homes and Gardens in clean secure buildings.Super clean grounds surround a clean, sparkling residents only private pool . Mature trees with lots of green areas for your pets an children to run and play. Updated units with new Stainless Steel appliances, ceiling fans and decorator back splashes adorn your new home. Large walk in closets for extra storage space. Close to freeway, shopping and dining.
