I really love the location of Fowler Square Apartments in Queensberry, New York. I live in the cottages and have a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment with a walk-in shower for the master bedroom, it’s perfect for an aging person like myself. The walking path around the property is nice for some exercise and they do keep it plowed, even in the winter time, an added plus. The clubhouse and the amenities there (a little gym and a yoga room) are nice, but a lot of other residents don’t treat the... place and the equipment with respect and management should address that issue. But down to the nitty-gritty, it’s very noisy here. There is zero insulation in the walls between apartments and no insulation between the floor of upstairs and ceilings of downstairs apartments, so noise transfer is immense. I sleep with earplugs at night to give you any idea of what it’s like to try to go to sleep. I know I hear my neighbor snore and he has told me that he can hear me if I cough… that’s how much the sound transfers between apartments. So if you don’t mind the noise or you can find a work around, you might enjoy being here. If the noise is not something you could live with then I would not recommend it for you. Read More

I can hear my neighbors walking around upstairs while I lay in bed. It’s awful. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. Thump, thump, thump all day/night. Don’t get me started on the dog toys either. Thump, thump, thump. It sounds like they’re walking directly on my ceiling with no cushion between. You don’t ever get use to this noise. Thump, thump, thump. Straight miserable. Living in a first floor Garden Style with a 3 Br apartment above us is absolutely maddening. We can hear every footstep, chair moved, dog toys, you name it we can hear it from above. You’ve been warned!
