Poorly built apartment units resembling a death trap. Not safe at all for children, given this building is a literal construction site. Over promising and lying about the actual features of the unit. Lying about the amenities of the building. Lying about the extent of construction. Also run by individuals who will stop at nothing to demean your concerns. Justifies its predatory and non-market prices through “high end fixtures “ and appliances, half of which you should expect not to work at any... given time. Paint chipping off the wall slowly. Expect “new units” to come NOT move in ready, but instead covered in cigarette ash and dirt. When I moved in, the dryer and dishwasher were broken and they took 2 weeks to resolve the issue. Dryer is ineffective at drying clothes, paving items still wet after 3 hours of a half load wash. COMPLETELY unresponsive to the concerns of young people, which is interesting that they are next to a university. They will also barge into your apartment at no notice and permit the sounds of construction from 6 am to 6 pm, which is advertised no where on the website. Construction will continue to persist for an extremely long time and estimates are wholly inaccurate. They will fail to mention that the exterior of the building looks nothing like the pictures on their website. Hallways constantly smelling like a casino due to smoking by their workers, who obviously have no interest in wearing masks . Humidity and leakage in my walls while I was away from the unit for a very short period of time caused a infestation of bugs (roaches and spiders) as well as cracked walls and a molded ceiling. Came to my apartment 4 times during a one week period and refused to fix it at any time during the week. Not a conducive place for work from home. 3 weeks after they ignored the issue, it remanifested itself as 6 inch boils of paint exploding throughout my apartment, because they failed to identify the leak. As a busy student, I feel like I am forced to take on the role of supervising adults to do their jobs. Live somewhere else if you want not to hate where you live. Having an apartment with pretty wood floors should not justify your choice of this building over some other one down the road
