Maintenance crew are unreliable, missing appointments, delay services, issues recurred, very unprofessional,
which causing tenants anxiety, stress, inconvenience and wasting hours of time.

The “benefits” of this building are all lies. They are always working on remodeling other rooms at all hours of the day and night but never will come in to fix the things you need, the management (except for the doormen who are nice) is rude and will not address any of your complaints, the dog run is disgusting and if it even sprinkles rain you won’t want your dog in it, the hallways are always so gross and unclean, and the “game room” has been out of service for months and doesn’t appear to... actually be working on it. Also, the shuttle bus and driver are HORRID. It is rarely on time, only runs every half hour during certain times on weekdays, and the driver is always talking on his headphones! Also, they will often just cancel it one night or morning and not tell anyone! Also, half of the gym equipment doesn’t work and they never fix it. Only one of three bikes actually works! Its an average apartment building for Brooklyn neighborhood, good location, depends on preferences.

We have been leaving at the Opal for a little over 10 years. To be honest we haven't had any issues as far as the accomadations other then the occassional lack of hot water due to maintinance upgrades. Our neighbors are friendly and the nieghborhood is decent. I would recommend it.
