We have access to so many incredible hiking/biking trails nearby, you can literally walk from our front door right up to the Tahoe Rim Trail if you like. We are also close to the newly-opened east shore bike trail, with unbelievably gorgeous views and easy access to numerous pristine, rocky beaches along its path.

Our community also offers access to two incredible, private beaches for residents and guests only (punch cards available). Ski Beach offers a play area, snack stand, picnic tables, boat ramp and paddle board rentals, while Burnt Cedar Beach offers a pool, restaurant, play area, picnic tables, volleyball court and a sandy cove perfect for swimming, with a gorgeous peninsula for enjoying lake views.

Diamond Peak Ski Area is right next door and has beautiful runs with fabulous lake views, and Snowflake lodge at the top is phenomenal for a lake view lunch. We are also close to other ski resorts, such as Mount Rose, Northstar, Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Homewood and Heavenly.

You can drive 35 minutes to Reno, Carson City, Tahoe City, South Lake Tahoe, and Truckee for more adventure. We recommend an overnight 4-hour trip to Mammoth Mountain and Mono Lake if you have extra time, and also the 4-5 hour drive to Yosemite. San Francisco is a 4-hour drive away.
