Worst apartment in all 5 apartments I have ever lived

Charged more than $3,000 from the security deposit without evidence of damage.

Thin Walls and Floors

We have lived in one of the Next Buildings for 3 years. Not only can you hear your next door neighbors, from music to closing dresser drawers; you also get to enjoy hearing your upstairs neighbors walking in their apt (FYI the carpets do not soften the noise if you live under heel walkers). Regarding across the hall neighbors, once in their apartments, you do not hear them as much. However the sound in the hallway carries.

This is more of a tenant complaint. Some tenants here do not respect...
the common areas. You'll find garbage in the hallway, from small debris to garbage bags left outside of apts. Also those who do not dispose of their garbage properly. A cleaning crew cleans the garbage room daily.

The parking garage it is worth the convenience & you get one space at no charge. You'll run into the usual annoyances: poor parking, using spaces as storage, & lazy tenants littering dispite garbage cans at each entrance/exit.

The amenities are nice, especially when compared to similar apartment complexes-price is also reasonable

Addt' pros:
- Maintenance requests are resolved quickly
- Front desk personnel (in the 2000 building) are friendly & helpful
- Grounds are well maintained
- Proximity to routes & transportation is excellent
- Overall the apartments have nice features
- Defined parking for visitors
- Park around the corner

Addt'l cons:
- Walls and floors are paper thin, this is very disappointing for a new building
- Management needs to hold tenant's more accountable for their violations
- No walkability to downtown areas, so get used to driving everywhere
- For delivery options are limited

The next point may be a pro to some & a con to others...the complex is not private:
- The complex hosts several events throughout the year for Secaucus. This causes traffic & can make it a nuisance to get in/out of your apt.
- Riverside Station Blvd is open to Secaucus residents. Looking for residential only parking? Opt for the garages.

Another thing, a vocational school is being built adjacent to the complex. So, there will be an uptick in traffic in the mornings/evenings. Note: There is only 1 road to/from the complex.
