Great place to live

I’ve lived here for about 6 months and it’s been a great experience. The building management is awesome, they organize a lot of cool events for residents and they’re always super responsive. Front doormen are all wonderful and friendly. Units are well maintained and beautiful. Would highly recommend!

Just Don't Move-in Until The Summer

My experience with the management office etc prior to living here was very good. That's why I am giving it 2 stars. But after I moved in, it has not been torturous:

The ACs (two of them) in my apartment are not working properly. No matter what target temperature, they will start blowing COLD air as soon as the target is reached. Yes, cold air in the winter. The ACs go 24/7 non-stop unless I turn off the power.

I reported it to the building management. They couldn't fix it but promised me they...
would contact the manufacturer and got back to me. That was understandable. But I waited 2 weeks. Nothing happened.

I had to contact the property manager to get their attention again. But the story just repeats itself: they show up, couldn't fix the issue, promise you a date and time to come back, and then they go completely radio silent again. Because I don't WFH most of the time, I had to ask for time off, wait in my apartment, but only to find out they miss the appointments again and again. They have my phone number, email, address (obviously) but no one would give me a heads-up if they couldn't should up.

It has been 3 weeks since I reported the problem. No solution. No attention. As you can imagine, living in an apartment where ACs constantly blow cold air during the winter...not enjoyable. If you are consider this building, wait until summer time please.

Avoid this building if possible

Avoid this building if possible.
1)Significant construction issue: water leaking problem from the ceiling since the first day of lease, maintaince team act slowly to handle this emergent issue.

2) poor sound insulation room: you could hear noise from neighbor and the train station nearby when light rail road train pass by. (Every Five minutes) Lived at 40 floors but still get lots of noise at midnight, due to train and garbage truck working at midnight.

3) Poor management: noone assist you in...
the moving day and only give you the key and ask you to go upstair by yourself, did not even ask you for an initial check on apartment condition and ask you to sign move-in document in front desk directly.

Honest review

Beautiful building. Great amenities (except unreasonable parking garage) and great staff/management. 1/2 young couples and the other half really really really annoying really rich college kids who treat building like a dorm. They often set off fire alarms, smoke cigarettes in their rooms, destroy the trash room, bogart elevators going up and down, get dogs they can’t control (There are pitbulls in this building btw), move at odd hours and speed down the streets behind building. Pay way too much... for that nonsense. Probably won’t renew lease.
