Firstly, if you are a person with asthma, or any other types of breathing or underlying health conditions, DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! They allow tenants to smoke inside their apartments and the smoke travels throughout the bldg.!!
The building is in POOR condition and very old!! It also smells very musty and in need of a serious make-over. The walls are in dire need of painting, carpets (in hallways and entryways) are old, and wreak of grease, and are also VERY filfty, with years of old stains!...
There is an old boiler in the building which controls your heat and air, so in the Winter if your're hot natured, be prepared to have a fan or a window unit, or else you're doomed!! The elevator is VERY slow and will only fit couches under 80 inches, and low clearence stairwells, so don't even bother bringing large sized couches, they WILL NOT fit!
There is also only ONE elevator in the building, which serves as both a freight and passenger elevator. The call-boxes don't always work, and are constantly failing!! The mail area sucks as well and is very outdated!!
I only moved here because of only having to pay one flat fee as utilities ARE included in your monthly rent. If that's your thing and you're not bothered by nasty smoke and living in an old out-dated building, I would say give it try. If not, bypass this one!!
