The amenities are impressive for an apartment building inclusive of a spacious fitness center and pool area. The grills have been recently replaced, I just wish you could use the grills past 9:00 PM! Overall a good place to live.

The structure of the building lends itself to a quiet living experience. It is so solid. Riding an elevator to the grocery store can’t be beat. The office staff is consistently going above and beyond to help make the residents comfortable.

After 2 years of a 5 star review for Peace/Kane Realty, I am changing to 1 star for Cortland management. We love the building and location but the uncooperative behavior and rudeness from new Cortland management team has been quite concerning. Whether it is getting our lease renewal agreement 24 hours before it expired, rudeness and unprofessionalism from meeting in person about it, several unanswered emails from cooperation from our end (while they talk about us in their own management group... chat), and an ongoing A/C issue that has been unresolved for 4 months (still ongoing and WE are paying ~$500/month in utilities because of THEIR issue); all of these reasons and more have led me to suggest that new residents should look elsewhere for an apartment. They do not care about the residents the way that Kane/Peace did at all, it has been an unpleasant and time consuming 4 months since the new owner/management change.
As much as I like Ken and his efforts to help us, as well as the other 5 or 6 maintenance technicians that have come to our apartment over the last 4 months for the same ongoing issue, WE are paying for THEIR issue with money and time. They ask me every time I see them to leave positive reviews about them here, and I cannot be dishonest about my experience with them thus far, particularly the Management Team.
