Multiple cars have been broken into..including mine. Hallways smell like trash. Doors going into the building sometimes don’t lock behind you -meaning anyone can get in. Homeless people sleep in the stairwells and elevator works 3 months out of a year.

I tried to be as patient as possible and give them the benefit of the doubt. I’ve been patient and gave them every chance possible to change my opinion, but all I have to say is read all the reviews since September of 2022. It’s all consistent. It’s all true.

I had a water leak that led to extensive damage below the floors, baseboards, door casing, behind the walls, and under the carpet all right before Thanksgiving, and it took two weeks of me constantly following up every day desperately... begging for action… which resulted in them finally settling on moving me to a new unit.

Rhonda and Curtis are nice people, but that’s about the only positive I have since MAA took over. Exterior doors don’t lock, so you don’t even “get what you pay for” when it comes to security. Car break-ins, and all we are told from management is “we can not and do not guarantee your safety and security” basically telling us good luck on staying safe, but make sure your rent isn’t late!!!!

If you’re looking here, don’t. Turn around and go in the opposite direction as fast as possible & prioritize your health and safety over the bold cover up of pretty pictures. Read More

This was decent with Novel, it had its quirks and wasn’t perfect but it has not been peaches and cream since MAA took it over, nice team, but the new
Ownership was/is NOT prepared and it has been a bad experience ever since. They don’t even have a maintenance team.
TL;DR
- Apartment is next to HVAC Closet.
- HVAC is leaking into our closet and our bathroom.
- Something like this should be fixed immediately, our clothes in our laundry basket is soaked and we’re using our towels to soak up the... water.

This happened once earlier this month but Sully came and fixed it immediately. I spoke the the MAA team this morning at around 9:30am and nothing has happened. It’s gotten so bad that the water has leaked through the floor and damaged the paint/drywall of the mailroom. Mold has grown as well but I suspect thats from the last time this happened. Also mentioned and usually once mold is concerned property management companies bend over backwards to rectify and remediate…..still waiting. Read More

In general it’s a great place to live. Excellent Staff and very convenient to commute
