Bradham is a great place to live. A great location, great amenities, friendly leasing staff, and overall clean community

The management team at Bradham at New Bern is incredibly kind and understanding. When I was touring the apartment and signing my lease, the team made the process seamless. The apartment itself is in prime location - right next to the rail trail with plenty of different restaurants / breweries around the area.

I love the direct access to new Bern station, it’s walkable to literally everywhere, the pool just got redone and is so nice, and the apartments are very nice themselves. Great staff

I previously had a great experience living here, which is what makes this so disappointing.

I transferred units within the building and, before signing the new lease, specifically asked about noise from the commercial space below. I was told there had been no complaints and that the units were well soundproofed. In reality, I’m woken up almost every day at 5:00am by bass and vibration from early morning classes directly below my unit.

Management acknowledged the issue but did an inspection in... a different unit and still concluded the noise was “within acceptable levels,” which doesn’t reflect the experience of actually living directly above the space. A one-time inspection also doesn’t capture the repeated, day-to-day disruption.

I was willing to work collaboratively and proposed reasonable solutions, including something as simple as reducing bass during early morning hours. None of those were considered. Instead, I was told my options were to move (to a smaller or more expensive unit), pay a significant transfer fee, or “get used to it.”

I understand that mixed-use buildings come with some level of noise, but this goes beyond normal expectations—especially at 5:00am. What’s most frustrating is the lack of flexibility or willingness to make even small, reasonable accommodations.

If you’re considering living here, be very careful about unit placement near commercial spaces, as noise from early or late operating businesses can significantly impact your day-to-day living experience. Read More

This community is conveniently located in the South End of Charlotte and has access to both the CATS Lightrail and bus transit services. The community offer great amenities and overnight security. There is plenty of parking for residents and guests. The communication between the leasing staff and prospective tenants could be better and there could be a better system for ensuring apartments are clean and ready for the next tenant.
