This has been a great place to live. The price, amenities, staff, location - everything absolutely works out for me. Parking can be difficult especially in the evening and walls are a little thin so you might hear your neighbor if they are being particularly loud. Definitely would recommend the place.

Parking is generally sufficient, but packed, not much as to be able to park reasonably close to apt building.
Quality of construction is good and expansion are welcomed (off lease dog park, playground, etc) the gym could use an overhaul though
Noise level is excellent. Generally very quiet.
Grounds are terrible. Littered with dog poop and little/no enforcement of lease contract language on leashes or city ordinance on leash usage. Will be attempting to contact management on this issue... .
Maintenance is timely and and helpful even though the ticket system is a little clunky.
Staff, while helpful, is almost impossible to contact outside of going to office in person. Management now uses AI bot to field all requests form Maintenance, leasing questions, to complaints and/or directs to a 3rd party when calling. Terrible.
Overall is a solid location with great amenities if willing to put up certain detractions.

I have lived in these apartments since July of 2024! I love being right by everything but also feeling tucked away in the quiet. As a pet owner, we have everything we need for our precious babies! We have a cute dog park! Nice clean sidewalks! Dog waste stations everywhere you look. We are right by a nature greenway for those long walks! I would suggest these if you love quiet and serene!

I have been living at Lakewood Village Apts for 8 years. We have a pool, dog park, the Greenway Trail which is beautiful, and close to everything! Security means everything to me and my kids. At night this place is lit up everywhere. We also have security that drives through couple times per day. Great place to live!

I've lived at Lakewood Village for the last 5 years. It's a great place to live; the amenities are good, it's in a nice centralized location for southern Springfield, and the walking trail out back is a huge plus!
