The manager decided to keep my deposit despite me shampooing carpets and cleaning the unit AND despite the fact that he made that decision BEFORE he inspected the unit. You might as well be resigned to just giving him the money because you won't get it back. It is not really a deposit if he randomly chooses to not return it despite your meeting your lease agreement. In addition, the bugs are out of control so be prepared to set off bombs because getting them to spray is somewhat of a chore. The... floor around the toilet was weakened probably from long term neglect and water damage. Keep your inhaler because mold will be your friend.
