Good people around you. Been there for years with respect

I moved out three months ago. The property has been charging me rent since then despite me and my husband and calling them three weeks in a row. Their excuse was they were new and didn’t know how to fix it. They said the manager would call but they never did. We know the current resident in the apartment so we know that they went to talk to the office and gave them their credit card but for some reason the office couldn’t figure out how to not charge us.
