I recently moved out after living here for a few years, and I'd definitely recommend Tree Tops to anyone, especially to a single person or a couple without kids. As others have mentioned, it's in a really convenient location (especially if you bus downtown for work, or spend any time biking), and for the most part the building is really comfortable and quiet. They went through some staffing changes while I lived here, but everyone was always really helpful and responsive, and any maintenance... issues were fixed quickly. There are a few things that are a little irritating (loud air conditioners, tiny dishwashers), but nothing I'd call a dealbreaker. There was also a problem with mail theft that someone mentioned, but that issue is fixed since there's a secure mail room now. I've lived in this building for a few years, and for the most part I'd recommend it. The location is fantastic, with great access to bus routes and bike trails, and the apartments themselves are livable and well maintained. There's a fun party room, plenty of parking, and a few grills out back that are usually open. You'd also be hard pressed to find an easier place to live with a pet or two. That said, your mail and packages will be stolen regularly, with very little concern on the part of... management. I have lived in many units at Tree Tops in my 6 years as a resident. I love that each unit is a little different and offers new views of the trees and the city. I currently live on 7th floor and I have an amazing view of Minneapolis from my balcony.

One of my favorite things about living at Tree Tops is the proximity to both nature and "Uptown." Lake Calhoun, Lyndale Gardens, Lakewoods Cemetery, and Lake Harriet are all within walking distance, and I can be in the Lyn-Lake area to meet friends... for dinner/drinks in 15 minutes on foot.

Most notably, I feel very safe at Tree Tops. I love coming home to my little sanctuary in the sky at the end of a long day. The people in the building are friendly, the Office staff is welcoming, and the building is kept up nicely by caretakers. My husband and I live here at Tree tops and we love it! We would recommend this place to anyone. Staff is great and very responsive and love the location. We never hear our neighbors above or next to us. Also, the community here is very friendly! Again, we would recommend this place to anyone!
