I love living here, things are kept nice, you can manage your own front or side garden if you wish, and you can't beat having washer/dryer in unit and a garage! Neighbors are all quiet and lovely. Rent is more than adequate for what you get here in my opinion.

I really like my apartment location, view and size. What I don't like is the increase in rent. It has gone up three times in the five years I have been here. They say it is for upkeep but the apartments aren't as well kept as they used to be. They used to power wash the outside, now they haven't done that in years. We were promised new appliances as well and very few tenants have gotten them. Lastly, I feel like the company knows they have the corner on a the market and people on fixed incomes.

We are happy that you still like your apartment home. Our Maintenance team works hard at keeping up the three apartment communities (Maplewood Square, Meadow Ridge and Edgewater)that we manage. We have been replacing appliances with new very nice... up-scaled appliances as the budget allows. Before people move in the apartments are fully renovated along with new up-scaled appliances. As your are aware, Meadow Ridge and Edgewater have nice full size washer and dryer, along with a garage. Other appliances include the following: range, refrigerator, dishwasher, over-the-range microwave. Expenses for the upkeep of the apartment buildings, grounds and so much more keep rising. The new rents have been made stable since the properties were sold over two years ago now. If you have not yet received the new appliances you are on a list to replace. Feel free to talk to the office about where you are on that list. We (Edgewater staff) are doing our best to serve all of our residents well. We do return voice and emails promptly. We are very willing to discuss any outstanding needs you feel we are not attending to.

I agree with the previous reviewer. The new management is only in the office part of the day and does not return any phone calls. The friendly, affordable environment is long gone. New management does not care about the residents, only the monthly check.
While I love my apartment, I am looking for another place that will appreciate that I am a person, not a monthly check.

Our management strives to be available sufficiently to our residents and customer base. We have posted office hours for walk in availability and always request that if the individual needs/desires a specific time to be set aside for them they are... able to make an appointment time. We offer many amenities to our residents and are upgrading appliances over time with the turnovers and per the needs of the household.
The office hours are set to avoid errors and to be sure that all of our duties are complete in a timely manner. This gives us the ability to serve our customers with accurate and timely information. It is necessary to be organized and manage our tasks efficiently with a customer base of this size.
