I recently toured The Charlotte. Although the units I saw were nice enough, the last one we were shown featured a dead baby roach on the floor. Bad thing to see. This was after I had just asked about pest problems, which the tour guide said they had none. When I pointed out the roach, he flipped it over with his keycard and said, nonchalantly, “yep, that’s a roach,” and then asked if we’d like to see the laundry room. I thanked him for his time and told him to have a good day. Needless to say, I... will not be moving into this apartment. Dishonesty about pests is a huge red flag, and a dead roach in the middle of the showroom is a terrible first impression. As someone who really doesn’t tolerate living with roaches, I’d recommend treading this property with caution. Maybe just avoid it entirely.
